Abstract

The "classic" of soccer in Spain (or "derby" as he call in that country), went from being the most important game of the league, to the most anticipated duel on the football stages world. Perhaps, there has not been in the history of football of clubs increased interest or follow-up for a game than the one  celebrated by Barcelona and Real Madrid. This involves the analysis of a series of sociocultural elements that, from the evident influence of the media communication, they have captured a soccer game to turn it in a social metaphor of global dimensions.
