Cardiac variability and exercise in adults with coagulability syndrome: a systematic review

Abstract

The analysis of heart rate variability is a non-invasive technique that allows the diagnosis of heart disease and neuropathy, in addition to being a parameter against which exercise prescription can be referenced. Cardiovascular responses to exercise are directly proportional to its intensity, that is, the heart rate increases as the muscle requires more oxygen. Some methods for analyzing heart rate variability are statistical, spectral, and non-linear oscillators, among others. This report aims to present the results of the search for information regarding the analysis of cardiac variability and exercise in adults and especially in patients with coagulability syndrome. A search was carried out for a period of time from January 1, 1990 to August 30, 2013 with the help of different electronic databases and search engines (Scirus, PubMed, Embase, Proquest, Redalyc, Highwire Press and Academic Google) where 127,449 studies were found, of which 9 articles were selected that were the most relevant to elaborate this review.
