ORINOQUIA, es una Revista Científica de la Dirección General de Investigaciones, de la Universidad de los Llanos creada en el año 1986; dedicada a difundir los resultados de investigación y nuevos conocimientos, por medio de la publicación de artículos originales que contribuyan al mejoramiento de la calidad de vida de los habitantes de la región y en general de la población colombiana.
La revista publica artículos originales de autores nacionales e internacionales, su publicación es semestral y de acceso abierto por lo tanto no cobra a los autores por publicar sus artículos ni a los subscriptores y lectores por acceder a la información.
Cuenta con un comité científico y editorial compuestos por investigadores de reconocida trayectoria en diferentes áreas, para efectos de citación de la revista se usa la abreviatura Orinoquia.

The Impetus magazine is a periodic publication of the Physical Education and Sports Degree of the Universidad de los Llanos, in Villavicencio, Meta (Colombia); oriented mainly to the dissemination of research and innovation works in the field of physical education, recreation, sports and related areas. Impetus is published biannually and circulates since 2007. Peer-reviewed (double blind), professional experts specialized in the subject area of each of the articles submitted to Impetus.
